Shiatsu is a method of treating imbalances with finger pressure. Thumbs, hands and arms are used to apply pressure along the channels in order to correct irregularities in the body, maintain or improve health, and contribute to the healing of certain illnesses. In this class we will focus on the sinew meridians and their role in providing postural structure and organized movement.

This class will explore:

  • The structure of the sinew lines and how they impact the Main meridians
  • The postural effects (and musculoskeletal implications) of Sinew imbalances
  • Identifying and treating the sources of sinew imbalances and structural deviation
